it would be better if we could share a common platform to run this. however, since there is no requirement for this to be done, i would suggest to use the latest version of java as i mentioned earlier. java 1.8.0_111, java 1.0_72, java 1.0_45 and java 1.0_40 are the latest versions available for windows, linux and mac os.
i tried downloading the older versions of java but the old versions are the same as the ones i currently have. i have also tried using the “add/remove” to uninstall the older versions of java but they refuse to uninstall. my computer just spins at the “install java” dialogue. any ideas?
the sap java idoc library (sap jidoclib) is an add-on library for the sap java connector (sap jco). it provides an easy-to-use api for sending and receiving idocs and idoc packages to and from sap systems. the api also helps interpreting and navigating through idocs and modifying them or creating new ones. in addition, it provides a processing feature for parsing and rendering idoc-xml documents.
Provides a client for the SAP Remote Function Call (RFC) protocol.SAP Remote Function Calls (RFC) provide fast, secure, and easy-to-use communication between a computer and a SAP system. Through them, applications can communicate with business-relevant data sources in a simple and intuitive manner. The client, in turn, can be used by Java applications to invoke SAP-related remote functions. Both standard and RFC-specific characteristics can be used to personalize the client and to adapt it to the needs of the user and the developer. That enables a wide variety of applications to be implemented using SAP Remote Function Calls.
