Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

AutoCAD Product Key has also been used by many non-commercial users, especially in the print media, for creating illustrations for books, magazines, and newspapers. The nature of this work has led to the development of specialized tools and techniques to maintain accuracy and consistency.
Since the release of AutoCAD, version numbers have been used to denote major changes in the CAD application. In version 1.0, the name of the application was changed from “AutoDraw” to “AutoCAD”. Later, the name was changed again to “AutoCAD 2000”. In 1992, Autodesk was bought by Nielsen Business Media, who then renamed the application “AutoCAD R12”. In 2004, “AutoCAD R12” became “AutoCAD LT”, and in 2012 it became “AutoCAD 2013”.
When the first release of AutoCAD was released in December 1982, an operating system for the time, MS-DOS, did not provide an interface for multitasking. Without multitasking, users could only switch between application windows on the screen. As the years went by, multitasking features were added to MS-DOS, but the user interface did not change in any way, so it was not possible to configure multitasking in a way that would be suitable for CAD work.
In the mid-1990s, Microsoft Windows 3.x introduced an important new feature called the “docking” of application windows. Through docking, it was possible to group application windows together and configure them to be resized or positioned at a common location.
In version 1.5 of AutoCAD, a new version of Autodesk’s operating system, Windows 2000, introduced a new feature called a taskbar. While the original Windows taskbar did not have any form of editing functionality, the new taskbar enabled a user to configure it to do this.
In version 1.5 of AutoCAD, the UI was changed from an AutoLISP-style program to a Windows-style program. It took several years before the user experience could be modified to meet the needs of the product.
AutoCAD 2008 for Windows was released in 2008. It had a completely new UI and a completely new set of features. It also had many bug fixes and was free of the major bugs introduced in the 2006 release.
AutoCAD 2009 was released in February 2009, and introduced many new features. Most notable was the introduction of GIS functionality.

The world of disc golf has seen some pretty epic tournaments this year, and The Iowa Open is just one of them. Disc golf is a great sport, but it can be a tough sport to follow. And while we love watching the live action, it’s the best part of the sport. I’m glad to be able to share the above clip, which shows a really intense game between players in the Open division. This video is from the final round of the tournament, and the players were using really low (in terms of average), to make some really tough putts.
I was there, and I’m going to tell you why this was the best tournament ever. There was some good racing in the afternoon round, with several players really taking control of their division. One player in particular, Matt Taylor, had an almost perfect round. He finished in 2nd place in the division, just 3 shots behind champion Cory Fitt. This was the first time in the history of the tournament that a runner-up won the event. Not only that, but he also won the whole tournament with a hole in one, and it was a huge hole.
Even though this video doesn’t capture every aspect of the tournament, it gives you a good idea of the excitement that was generated. The emotion is pretty intense, and you can definitely tell by looking at the video that this was a special event. You’ll have to watch it yourself to get a complete understanding of what was going on, but this is just an incredible time capsule of a very special tournament.
Enjoy the clip, and let me know in the comments if you want to see more like this!
While I’m not a Pro, I’ve always loved the sport of disc golf. It’s been fun getting to meet the people I’m following, and I’ve made some great friends. I’ve also experienced some of the best rounds of my life, and I’ve been lucky to share the experiences with some of the best disc golfers in the world.
If you’re not a fan of the sport, you can probably tell from watching the above video that disc golf is a great sport. If you love disc golf, but you’re not really sure where to start, I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite places to go when it comes to getting involved. Hopefully,
