How to cut a fabric with a rotary cutter, paper and scissors

How to cut a fabric using a rotary cutter
If you do not have a rotary cutter or you don’t know how to use one, here is the manual way to do it:
1. With your fabric out, make sure that you use a fabric or you’ll get a cut in the paper.
2. Put your fabric into a paper-cutting machine.
3. Now you need to put your paper-cutting machine onto a piece of heavy cardstock paper (a piece of construction paper would work as well, but you’ll get the best results with a heavy cardstock paper).
4. In most cases, your pieces won’t be too large so you should be able to cut it all by hand.
5. If you have a fabric that has to be cut in more than one direction (there are two ways: either make your fabric cut, with the rotary cutter on the long sides or with the rotary cutter on the cross-grain (width), then cut the fabric along the grain of the rotary cutter or between the rotary cutter, the fabric should be cut on the long side).
6. Cut the pieces by hand. I recommend to make it all in one cut. To do this, lay your paper with the fabric on top of it. The fabric should be on top of the paper so that the rotary cutter can cut through the paper and fabric.
7. Repeat until you have enough fabric.
