There's no doubt computer users like eye-candy windows, so it's no surprise that downloadable software solutions supposed to change a thing or two about the way the operating system looks enjoy an impressive success.
Glass2k is an application supposed to help you in this regard, as it gives you the option to add transparency to all windows on your screen using just some keyboard shortcuts.
One of the best things about this utility is that it relies on a simple and very easy to use interface, with just a few options displayed in the main window.
You can thus configure key settings, choose the Taskbar transparency, but also enable some other settings such as a beep every time you enable the see-through effect.
Still, the whole process basically comes down to this: make sure the window you wish to add transparency to is the active one and press the selected keyboard combination to enable the effect. Very easy and efficient as well.
Glass2k will quietly sit in your System Tray all the time without hampering computer performance at all, even on older machines, so Windows XP users should be delighted with it. The program is being delivered as a very light package, so it takes just a few seconds to get it to work.
All in all, Glass2k is quite a great app in case your operating system doesn't support Aero and has no opacity effects for the taskbar and program windows. Thanks to this tool, you will be able to activate full transparency to any application.

This software has been designed for people who would like to change the appearance of the windows and application menus in Windows XP. This software provides a easy and fast way to change windows and application menus to an eye-candy transparent look.
You just need to change window or application transparency. You don’t need to restart windows and applications. Also if you change the menu items of an application, that application will not be restarted. You can use the themes and transparency options of Windows XP so that you can change transparency of multiple windows and applications at once.
You can change both taskbar and other windows or application menus to different transparencies and set default value of windows and application menus.
As a long time user of Windows XP, I know a thing or two when it comes to making the software that comes out for it look good. I am proud to present to you the eye-candy transparency solution for Windows XP that I have been working on, and that is called Glass2k Cracked Accounts. As far as user interfaces go, Glass2k is among the better ones that you can download for free.
With a transparent program window, you will be able to see the image on screen along with the web page that the program displays while performing some task. It’s not just a gimmick, as Glass2k can help you improve your productivity significantly.
If you’re not a fan of the typical Windows XP interface, it may not come as a surprise that you’re not either going to be fond of Glass2k. When it comes to the interface itself, Glass2k is very simple to use. All you have to do is to select the application you want to have transparent in order to set its opacity.
Step 1: Choose the Program to Make Transparent
To start off, you’ll need to choose which application you want to make transparent. You can browse through the program list and select the one you want to look at. You can add any number of programs to the list at a time.
The program you choose in step 1 has to be the one that needs to be transparent, because that program will be the only one that is going to have its opacity changed. Glass2k will set the opacity of all other program windows to 100% and all other program menus to 100% (NOTE: Do not change the transparency settings of other program windows or program menus).
Glass2k Crack + Torrent X64
Glass2k is a utility to enable transparency to Windows Vista and 7 taskbars as well as Windows Explorer bars and windows, such as in folder windows, consoles, etc. Glass2k also works in Windows 2000/XP/2003.
I would like to congratulate your team on releasing such a great program.I already installed it, works great and feels a lot better and faster than Microsoft’s transparency solution. In fact, it is just as easy to install and use as their solution.
Additionally, it is very easy to configure. Just install it and you can either use a hotkey or a context menu to enable the effect, or you can use the configuration tool to edit the option menu. I couldn’t have asked for more.
There are a few minor glitches that you may have to deal with. For instance, if you have windows 7, when you lock your computer it will still be visible underneath your lock screen until the computer locks, then it will reappear when it unlocks. Another glitch is that it only works on the taskbar not the Start button.
I know it is hard to find something that is free, but I wish that atleast all paid applications would add a free version with all the features and more.
My Name is Adam and I am not a robot!……I just think it is fair to state that all of the information in this post is subject to change. If a post/report/review/opinion/recommendation says ‘In my opinion’ then it is only that – an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact….
Man, I love the icons in the tray… I have a win7 machine but I don’t use the win7 start bar… I hate that they took it off… I have to live with a black tray, but the transparency of the win7… That’s all I ask for… I should be able to have my cake and eat it too… I don’t like the way the win7 start bar looks… It’s ugly… I hate the win7 start menu… It sucks and I don’t have to look at it… It looks nice and clean….
I’ve used it before for the same reason, I like being able to see what programs are running and I can see the icons (icons are awesome).
This worked fine in XP but in Win7, I just couldn’t get it to work. The problem is, I love it, there is

The most important feature of Glass2k is that it lets you activate the Windows XP opacity for all windows, including windows from Windows applications and programs.
The application supports transparency in the Taskbar (Windows XP and Windows Vista only) and therefore it is perfect for people who want to activate transparency in Windows XP Taskbar using just a keyboard shortcut.
The application also lets you choose transparency for different application windows using a single keyboard shortcut.
The current list of supported software is Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Notepad and Notepad++, Windows Taskbar, Calendar and Windows XP’s Quick Launch Bar.
You can choose to enable transparency for Explorer Toolbar and for each button that belongs to the Quick Launch Bar as well.
Additionally, the application also lets you enable transparency for button icons of the Taskbar.
Transparency in Tray and the Windows Menu can be enabled in two ways.
The most common way is to use the procedure provided by Glass2k which consists of selecting the particular item on the Taskbar and press a couple of keyboard shortcuts for transparency.
The second way is to either select transparency for the Windows Menu or turn it on for the whole Taskbar using a single keyboard shortcut.
However, Glass2k only supports the quick launch toolbar and can’t be used to turn the display of program windows into semi-transparent ones.
The application also doesn’t work with Windows Vista.
