The Reflection Clock Free Download widget.
What is a Widget?
A widget is a graphical object created in a bitmap-based or vector-based graphics program. When a user clicks on your widget, you get a form as a result. You can access the form’s properties by right-clicking the widget on the screen and selecting “Preferences” or “Options”, depending on the program you use to create the widget.
How to use a Widget.
Windows gives you many options in that way. Most of them are of no interest to a developer.
You can right-click a widget and select “Options”.
You can also add a widget to the taskbar.
To do this, right-click on the taskbar, hold the mouse button, and move the mouse downwards.
As soon as you release the mouse button, a + will appear on the screen. Click on that to add a widget to the taskbar.
That’s all there is to it.
Supported XML Files.
The clock represents four supported XML files, located in the Widget/Yahoo/preferences directory. They define the layout of the clock, the widget’s behavior and other useful items. For more information, see the readme.txt file included with the clock.
Main Window Frame (Opacity 50%, Width 17%, Height 15%), number of mins in the day and sun direction
Left and Right Clock Frames (Opacity 100%, Width 100%, Height 2%), number of mins in the day and sun direction
Minimized Frame (Opacity 20%, Width 18%, Height 11%), time on the 24 hour clock.
You can move the frame to any position on the screen, as well as invert the day and the sun position.
To do this, click on the frame on the screen and press CTRL-Z (Windows) or ALT-Z (Linux).
You may also set the frame’s opacity level between 0 and 100%.
The default value for the frame’s opacity is 40%.
By default, all skins are enabled, and the user may only change the skin’s default button, ‘Minimize’, from the ‘Options’ menu.
You may also enable skins for the frame and the clocks. A’skin’ is an XML file that defines the layout, behavior and colors of a widget.
To do this, select ‘Options > Appearance > Skins’.
